Holding My Breath!

When I was young,

Too small to understand that,

Not knowing that Meeting new people was always fun,

I hold my breath!

Growing up,

Entered school,

Writing exams was, 

Fear and no fun,

I hold my breath!

Moving with time,

Higher studies arrived.

New world, new people,

Would they be my friend or enemy?

I hold my breath!

God, bless me today,

Will I get the job of my life?

Interviews from back to back,

All I did was,

Hold my breath!

Marriage was around the corner,

My partner for life was to be chosen.

Meeting him for the first time,

Nervous and excited,

For he going to be mine,

I hold my breath!

Today at the death bed,

Feeling like loose everyone, 

For now, I won't be there anymore,

I hold my breath forever!!
