The persuasive rapturous delight

With which the 'Umkhrah' and ' Umshyrpi' dance their wayward round,

And beckons you to the call of the adivasi maiden

Whose shower of silken curls race down in Cascades

To brush against your face with crystallized grandeur

In an embrace, and the mystery that spreads among frothy,

Spilling, overflowing exultation in the cool, soothing shades of blue, white and fiery grey

Seducing me to come home again on its wings

To this place where I belong

That frolics with rhythmic Rhapsody

Entwining my Homeland with scarves of 'Nongkrem', ' Behdienkhlam' ,

Weaving the beads of joyous 'Dorsegata' and 'Lahoo'

With whispering symphony of 'Shad Suk Mynsiem'

And colloquy of 'Wangala' tapestry.
