Helter Skelter
Helter Skelter
A wise man once called the happiest soul the most depressed.
I conked out in search of him down the mouse hole.
Then I reversed into a place where lions chased.
Ended up fishing and finding him with the toads.
Time whacked to change my steering.
I switched my menu and the venue.
My light brought me to the loony bin.
I joked and danced with them all day long.
Time struck me so I could get away from my chores.
I decided to turn my angle with my ankle.
Diving towards a refreshing freeway.
The circus, where I sat unseen.
That validated animals and humans hand in hand.
Just bubbling with laughter.
Time touched my shoulder whispering you didn’t get to it.
I screamed off my search saying it's invalid.
These are rumours which catch a forest fire.
Setting forth a free promotion.
Where fire extinguishers and firefighters are the first in skidding out.
Not to end up stuck in this whirlpool.
Finally catching the performance, laughingly playing on a playback loop.
