Hate to See You Smile

(A Vengeful Poem)

I hate to see you smile — it curdles blood,

A twisted grin behind the flood.

You wear it like a trophy piece,

While I still drown and find no peace.

You laugh like pain was never yours,

While I nursed scars behind closed doors.

Your joy? A blade — it cuts too clean,

While I stitch wounds you’ve never seen.

You moved on fast — or so you claim,

But I remember every game.

Each sweet deceit, each poisoned kiss,

Now fuels a rage I won’t dismiss.

You smile — the world believes your lie,

But I see truth behind that eye.

You smile like justice never came,

Like I don’t still ignite your name.

So let them cheer, adore your face,

I’ll watch you fall in silent grace.

That smile? It’ll fade in time —

And when it does… you’ll answer mine.
