I wish you because, it is you who must be celebrating this day like any of your grand days. Because, who else would have held you before you were even born? Who else could have felt you even before you were fully formed? 

It's her, your mother.

Remember those stories she told you? 

You might remember a few but, she has taken care of you before you would stand on your feet. She would pour all her care delicately in the favorite food you asked her to cook. She's the one who pampers you more than anyone else. 

It's her, your granny.

How much ever you tease her or fight with her, she's the one who knows most of your college stories, the one who opens the door when you come late to home after a party. She might be annoyed at you because you didn't say a sorry but, she keeps a half bite of the chocolate for you to eat. 

It's her, your sister.

Ever wondered? How come you could easily tell her all those tales you have been keeping to yourself all these years?

Because she is the one who understands your silence, and that makes you speak without any hesitation. It's her unbounded care that bonds you together.

It's her, your heart beats for.

This little one is someone you never imagined loving more than yourself. She would tell you stories, sleep on your shoulder, hug you close and love you like her kid.

It's her, your daughter.

All these women have raised and shaped the man you are today. And for such a beautiful human being you are, they reflect in your words, gestures, your smile and prominently in your eyes.
