Happy Teachers Day

This goes out to my dear teachers. 

For years you held my hand even when I could barely grab your fingers. 

With calmness and care, you instilled humane values in me. 

Teaching me about the world and how to be.

You have been a guiding light to show me the right way. With a soft voice and gentle touch made sure I didn’t go astray. 

Stern when needed, I always found in you a friend. Today, 

I am ready to face the world. 

I remember all the lessons you taught and every piece of advice I was told. 

Dear teacher, my friend, and my advisor. I pour out my heart to thank you in a special way.
