I went to look for happiness,
Leaving behind the feathers of sadness,
Across the shore to the mermaid,
Who wanted to be a human,
Lives exchanged, I let her walk,
As I swam across the ocean.
I still wait for her to return,
It's been two days, and she isn't.
Maybe, she believed,
The ghost in my house,
As a real person.
Is that so, she been betrayed and killed,
Or why is my soul shivering,
With the cold wind from the graveyard.
