Good Twist In Life - Oneself

I remember, 

As a young girl I was told to ponder,

Not to get too close to the other gender,

Neither emotional nor physical until you're married, 

That's about what my parent's were worried!

I wondered why?

Sometimes with deep sigh!!

Got married at twenty-three,

And my loving spouse and friend now, has set that young girl free. 

I was set free to explore my passion,

He never attempted to harness my emotions. 

As a woman, I too experienced oxymoron of emotions,

Sometimes mental, other times physical,

But I never had to hide, minimize or deny,

Because he's the one who stood with me to pacify.

We rely on each other's fidelity with a unique fervor,

As we believe in our values with which we have been nurtured.

We were never been more inclined to stray,

Though we have new desires today.

We looked into each other's eyes but couldn't realize,

We're wrapped around us with some for-granted vibes.

We locked our love and vibrated the strings of likeness link on,

This fondness allowed us to feel our emotional truth and connection, 

That's for sure lead our relationship to flourish with creativity and innovation.

He handled my enthusiasm about life

My loud energetic vibes,

My total independence.

I admired his passion in pursuit of his dreams,

I witnessed him to flourish, grow and have joyful screams.

We never complete each other for herself or himself,

We inspired each other to complete oneself.

We never knew this footstep will bring a good twist in life,

So we kept walking on!!

More like friends, rather than husband and wife. 

Together we are still walking on...

For each other, our heart will always turn on and on.
