Yes, we changed from
Doordarshan ➜ OTT platforms,
Paper boats ➜ Facebook posts,
School diaries ➜ Google Docs,
Summer holidays ➜ Touring trips.

Yes, we changed from
Greeting cards ➜ Status updates,
Writing notes ➜ Typing texts,
Waiting for letters ➜ Instant “seen” replies,
Living the moment ➜ Capturing the scene.

Yes, we changed from
Birthday greets ➜ Story tags,
Playground fights ➜ Comment wars,
Sharing chocolates ➜ Sharing reels,
Rental bicycle ➜ Owned car.

But whatever it may be —
No matter how much we’ve changed,
Our hearts still skip a beat
When we hear an old ringtone,
When we see a 90’s cartoon,
When we find an old photo
Tucked between school notebooks.

✨ We may have grown up with technology,
But our souls still belong to that beautiful, simple time.
We are technically part of this generation,
But emotionally connected to that generation.
