Girl As A Curse Or As A Goddess

Why our society always thinks like this,

Why our society considers girl as a curse,

In the next they treat a girl like Goddess,

Why they think girl as an incarnation of Durga?

She is craving for her own dignity,

She is craving for her own existence,

She is craving for her own liberty,

She is craving for her own prestige.

She is not safe anywhere

Whether she is at home or outside,

She is not safe even in her mother's womb, 

She is killed by her own mother in the fetus stage.

Why everyone is doing like this to her,

What did she spoil for everyone,

Why she is not getting equal opportunity,

Why she is weeping for her destiny?

She is also a kind of human being,

Why she is discriminated in her society,

Why a man is using her like she is his toy?

Why her mother discriminated against her? Because she will be someone's life.

She is not able to talk freely,

She is not able to walk freely,

She is not able to breathe freely,

Why so, because she is a girl in our society?

Everyone betrays her just saying that you are a girl,

Everyone ditches her just saying you are a girl

Don't do this, don't go there, don't sit here, why so?

Because she is a girl.

If everyone is thinking that she is a curse in a family, in a society

Why are we worshipping her like a Goddess.
