Freedom Underlying

All we wanted once, is to become free.

Free from the shackles and not from the glee...

Wished to get rid of the heartless brutality

Tried to retain complete brotherhood and real fidelity...

But what had this independence brought?

Are we literally unconfined or in a way caught?

Caught in the darkness, in the reckless thinking,

In the inhumane and baseless upbringing...

Literacy is concealed here, ill-breeding prevails,

Superstition augmenting itself, disdainful upheavals...

Selfishness revolves around love and affection,

Unsocial humans, neither bonding nor connection...

Is this what we call liberty? What we fantasize?

Freedom is nothing but defining original paradise,

Where there is only hope and no burden

Where smile originates anytime, all of a sudden.

Where there is no corruption, no injustice,

No scarcity of food, no malpractice.

Where children are free to play and think

Beyond the traditional, although maintaining link.

Where truth accompanies perseverance.

Peace of mind is a matter of permanence,

Where religion symbolises uniformity,

That is the ultimate liberty!!!
