Silence Everlasting

The last day when he came near me

And kissed my forehead with closed eyes,

I felt myself to be in the real paradise.

We stood holding hands, posing smile

Staring only at each other,

Much to say but stayed silent, maybe forever.

I pushed myself first, tried lot

To speak my heart out 

To clear his every doubt....

But I couldn't, couldn't even say,

"Don't go.. don't let me live solitary

I can't stay, merriment will be momentary..."

No, he didn't stop, go away

Leaving me behind all alone and 

Wishing me lifelong contentment never known....
