Forgiven Not Forgotten

Be careful in using words

Once they're out 

Either they can cut one's cords

Or they can comfort someone.

If it cuts someone's heart,

It can only be forgiven

But never be forgotten.

When we forgive someone,

It is not to erase the memory,

But simply to free ourselves from bitterness.

Be good to forgive everyone

But never forget 

The lessons learned,

The experience had.

Aesop's famous quote says,

" Injuries may be forgiven,

 But not forgotten."
