Forevers Don’t Exist

your home will never be a place 

unlike of the english vocabulary 

and you probably will have one home or several 

it doesn’t matter at all 

the previous day I saw you crying on your dining table 

and you asked me that why did they leave you here 

and all I could do was smile at that moment 

and I know that you must be wondering 

why I did that 

but to my surprise I was speechless 

too sore to speak 

like the sky remains forever 

the colors of the sky will change 

like the birds won’t ever stop flying 

the birds will be reborn 

like the way they leave you here 

you will grow out of it 

and everyone says that forevers don’t exist 

but look at the stars

look at the planets, the moon and the sun

it will be there forever for you and me 

will you be my home and my forever for infinity and beyond
