Flora - Man Love Story
Flora - Man Love Story
My life stood rooted, firm, in a palazzo,
A mansion of love and proposals
In a flower park, I was a blossom,
Till I stood up for holy matrimony.
It was a man, who held out his hand,
Attempted to woo me, and ask for my hand
A man and a flower, an amity story unheard
But happened so, in a manner absurd!
He sat on a bench, pacing about,
Watching his watch for an hour or more,
Until a damsel came before his eyes,
And his elated eyes showed it all
I thought he would lean down,
Push up that sparkle up her hand,
I could see her eyes sparkle up,
With the hope of winning his heart
He whispered into her ears,
A secret she had yet undreamt,
Swallowing a tear of shock and hurt,
She agreed to help him meet a match
He turned around, came straight
Bent upon, and looked at me
Without a second of hesitation, or a tinge of lie,
And said that I was his life floretta!
She and I felt the same,
Taken aback, we thought he was insane
Yet her heart heaved a sigh,
And now he has, two to abide!
