First Kiss

On that starry night

We were walking together

I gave her my jacket

The night was getting colder

We both were alone

Nobody was around

Only the straight road

With no bound

I felt a soft touch

She held my hand

It was magical

And so unplanned

I could see me uttering

Three magical words

But I know myself,

Me, King of cowards

The road came to halt

Time stopped for a moment

She needs to go

We reached her apartment

Please say something dumb

Don't be silent,

it's worth a lifetime,

The time you spent

She stopped there

Waiting for something

We both were silent

Nobody said a thing

Looked at her

She was staring down

She looked up

Her eyes are so brown

Suddenly She leaned forward

Her lips touching mine

It was magical

I was on cloud nine

It was a short kiss

Lasted for a second

I was frozen

Couldn't comprehend

Suddenly heard something

Some strange sound

Last time I checked

Nobody was around

It was a familiar tune

I heard it many times

It was very loud

Like thousand wind chimes

It was my alarm

Everything stopped midstream

And I woke up

Yeah, it was just a dream
