Fire
Fire
There's a fire in me,
That will burn you.
Hard to see,
But you'll come through.
If you try to extinguish it,
Ashes will fly around.
It's in my soul and my spirit,
Without any bound.
I shall bloom,
Like a flower.
Closer to the doom,
By every passing hour.
Though my heart
Will remain burning,
You shall tear me apart,
Yet, I'll keep on learning.
You'll burn so beautifully,
That you will forget,
How gracefully
I'll make you regret.
While I let you touch
My wounds and scars.
They are such,
That they'll show you stars.
Hinting your end,
There's a lot to feel.
With the hate you'll send,
I'll heal.
Some nights are just dark,
Darker than the others.
But my fire has a spark,
And my kindness smothers.
