Final stanzas of the year
Final stanzas of the year

As the calendar turns its final page,
We stand on the brink of another stage,
A year of moments, both bitter and sweet,
Echoes softly as memories meet.
The days rolled in like whispers at dawn,
Some left shadows, and some a song.
The laughter danced, the tears had their say,
Each etched its mark in a fleeting way.
January’s promise, so bright, so clear,
Faded to lessons as months drew near.
March brought winds of change, unforeseen,
July lit dreams in a golden sheen.
Through autumn’s hues and winter’s chill,
We climbed the peaks, we tumbled the hill.&n

Each mistake a teacher, each joy a gift,
In the tides of time, our spirits did sift.
Now December hums its gentle tune,
A twilight hymn beneath the moon.
It sings of love, of loss, of cheer,
The closing chapters of this year.
Raise a toast to all we’ve endured,
The bridges crossed, the wounds that were cured.
For every goodbye, a new hello,
In this cycle of life, we learn and grow.
So, as the clock strikes, let’s hold it near,
The final stanzas of the year.
For what has been and what lies ahead,
A tapestry woven, a story well-spread.
