Father , dear Father 

How I wish you were here ! 

Hopelessly I pine,to have you near !

YOU my inspiration , YOU my shine !

YOU my laughter , and I your sign !

I miss you so much so , 

I am reminded of you wherever I go 

You left me alone , now and forever 

A vacuum filled life like never before !

You were my best friend , my best companion indeed !

But fate had something else in mind 

It planned a very humane deed !

I spent hours with you 

A bliss it was for you too !

Little did I know 

It was fate’s temporary show !

Fate is cruel , very cruel !

It blew out your flame , leaving me behind lame
