Fare Thee Well Hiawatha

Fare Thee Well Hiawatha

He walked on in the Spring rain

Like a bag of garbage

In a Hollister jacket

On his way to some all-night diner

For coffee

And a piece of chocolate pie.

He'd thought she was a new life

But when the run on toilet paper hit

She freaked

Just like every other wench he'd known.

He needed someone,

But who could carry him, tarry in the rain

With him

Like nothing was happening?

So, he came to her door,

That mystical woman of voodoo,

And asked her to read his palm.

But she was naked at the door

Which startled him a bit,

So he read her palm instead...

Until the rains stopped and the sun came out.

Then they got dressed

And went for a museum explore

And found things hadn't changed much

In the past two million years...

Boys were still boys

And girls were still girls.
