Expectations Hurt!!!

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon

For some it's quite a roller coaster ride. 

Some cross the path like a walkover

For some it's no less than a tide. 

I am unfortunately the second one

But I have learnt the hard way how to take things in my stride. 

And I can say it with pride!!! 

Yes even I stumbled initially 

As I was like a climber, weak and tender

My parents always stood by me

They guided me on every step

Like a map which shows you the route 

But I was unaware that it was actually a trap

As now I realize, that situations change

U may not be lucky every time

This habit continued

I started looking for support to move ahead

Untill when I was made to realize that you need to Learn to be independent before it's too late

I feel this is the thought to which you'll also relate. 

So the question is how to deal with it

Well it's simple, stop expecting!!! 

Just move, take baby steps

Things will unfold on their own 

Experience is the best teacher 

Your learning will stay with you forever 

And you will never feel left alone.
