Everlasting Love

The moment I saw him

I knew he was the one.

He walked straight into my heart

And became my only obsession.

Everything about him was so special

His eyes his smile hid touch

I could feel him in my soul

And in every drop of my blood.

I found my happiness in him 

With him, I felt so complete and

Wished there would never be tomorrow.

He touched me with so deep insight.

That the world seemed to be a paradise

I loved him more than my own life.

And prayed that he would be mine.

But perhaps fate had something else in its fold

For he gave his heart to someone else.

And I was left alone in cold.

Though the world for me had come to an end,

My feeling for him or still the same

And quietly I bear all the sorrows and pain.

I will love her till the end of my life.

And if there really exists in this world.

I know someday he will be mine.

If not in this then in my next life.
