Espying Moon

Calm was the night, full was the moon,

My mate, I was going to see soon!

Beautiful views I sighted along the road,

Sojourning aside the rivulet that flowed.

I lingered espying moon in water and sky,

One firm, another seemed shy!

Stable like a rock stood one above,

Other flitted in water like a dove.

Ripples made the reflections waver,

‘Be still’ I asked it as a favor.

Divine was the sight, 

When two moons threw its light.

One from brook, one from the sky,

Bidding depression goodbye!

My heart raced venerating in health,

The view had added to my precious wealth!
