Encroachment!

Encroachment!

 The eagle sat back relaxed

Wearing a colorful shirt,

And pecked at the girls,

He’s such a flirt!

She saw him through the smog

And raised her calm, panda eyes.

The dogs took pictures of them

And sat in terror as they posed.

There was also a kangaroo in the train

With his baby in his pouch I suppose.

A whiff and a whaff and then went

Off the lights. The tiger roared with

His cub as the terror striked!

“Everything was beautiful and

Nothing hurt” read the cow.

The green frog gave flowers to

The queen and she bowed.

The rhino babies high fived

As the wolves moaned in despair

At their last attempt to thrive.

The train moved in the urban jungle as each

Got down after they did their jive.

“there’s is not much in here now and

So, we’ve overtaken the cities.” they said

With a summation. For you all are animals

In humans and we are better than you…

Whether you like it or not now,

There is not much we can give you!
