Encounter Of A Different Kind
Encounter Of A Different Kind
We were in a jungle
For a night stay
We were planning a safari
The very next day.
Out of the tent
We were enjoying the bonfire
Our guide had burnt
Few sticks and a tyre.
Suddenly we heard
A dreadful voice
It was not a roar
But it didn't feel nice.
Then a human like figure
Appeared behind a tree
As if asking us
Who are we.
We all were frightened
Shivering with unknown fears
Some of us were weeping
Eyes full of tears.
Made that sound again
It looked very weird
In a minute or so
The shadow disappeared.
No one could sleep
That whole night
We got some relief
When we saw sunlight.
For days I could not keep this
Out of my mind
This was an experience
Of quite a different kind.
