The Elephants Of Desire
The Elephants Of Desire
With wilderness on fire,
And madness on hire.
I saw two elephants,
Elephants of desire.
Gigantically lustful,
With a trunk so sassy.
These elephants were grey,
With a craving so classy.
The desire was,
To suffice,
For oneself and be the device,
Of self-destruction.
It was a question of survival,
Among the elephants,
And the Tigers.
The Tigers were of despair,
Just like elephants were of desire.
The elephants used to keep alive,
All those who wanted to thrive.
Even though it was through lust,
But after all, the survival was a must.
The tigers on the other hand,
Were the killers,
Of hope and principled caterpiller.
That is why they were in despair.
Little did both elephants,
And tigers know,
That there is a place to go,
Where only deeds are showed.
When the war got over,
And everyone else too.
It was just the imperfect peace,
Which just sounded so blue.
