Embalmed
In a tomb so still,
Lay a departed king so great.
Beside him lay,
All luxuries that were his fate.
There was gold, silks, and incense fine,
And delicious foods and silverware to dine!
Coz the soul feels hunger and thirst,
And needs food and wine,
And imperial garments,
With rubies and emeralds lined!
But most of all
The soul needs peace,
And freedom to go
To the next abode with ease.
Can we imagine life in THIS world,
With so much peace within,
And so much freedom throughout,
That we can live, a worry without?
