Eclipse
Eclipse
Adorned in her silvery attire
The moon sets her foot to
Meet her bridegroom
Some kilometers away, an impatient guy
Is waiting to meet the love of his life
Burning nervously, and endlessly waiting
For the separations to diminish
The sun waits, still no sign
Of his honey, his moon
But as she comes face to face
To her eternal lover, the sun
The moon gives in the heat of the passion
While the sun savours her lips
The whole sky censors the scene
Suddenly it is too dark, like a moonless night
But though, the time they waited was longer
The time to stay together, burned out
Relatively faster
The call of duty is on, the moon
Slips away from the arms on her sun and
Runs away, not turning her face back
There, the sun stays petrified
As he watches the moon go
The whole world rejoices that the day is back
But to a couple, darkness is prevailing
Never look into the eyes of the sun,
Had taught the wise
For it’s unwise to try searching those tears
That vapours out
Unable someday to meet the expectations
Of staying away from her beloved
The moon hides her in the shadows of the earth
To mourn, to grieve the absence of her beloved
The next night if you would see the sky
It would be filled with stars
But in reality, her tears are floating in the empty space
Her pain, though soundless can only be heard
By the night wolf, who howls out in her company
But there will be a day, when sweet lovers
Would come across each other
That’s why, when the time ripens
You will see beautiful nights
An a moon adorning herself again
To meet her eternal consort
The dazzling sun, once again
