Dove

Dove

A dove must feel so free, why'll we are paying a fee?

Just to get into town for food, though the taxpayers said I never understood.

And some days some of us are stolen, while you're up there when boulders, are rolling.

When you fly with glee, I wish, I could be so free.

And I try to chase you all day, but the guards keep me away.

And why do you fly and land on trees, people are forced to go on their knees.

I dream of having wings and taking off and dodging evil people's schemes.

Oh dove you have so much beauty, but down here there is no such thing as pity.

So as I know it just will get worse, I look at your nest, such beautiful work.

I know God is at work, and his plan will not fail.
