I was the night sky

I shined silently, observing the world

But never revealing the secrets.

You were the day

Bright with energy, smiling

Smiling with imperfection on an imperfect world.

I wondered if you stop smiling will you become me-

The night sky?

No, we kept ourselves apart, scared,

To lose myself in you.

But one day, we surrendered.

The night became the day, the day, the night.

Look how beautiful it is now!
