Dark

Dark

1 min 204 1 min 204

She lived.

She suffered.

She yearned.

She survived.

Under lonely sun she basked.

In moonlit nights she walked.

Millions and billions of stars twinkled,

Yet the sky remained dark and lonesome.

Fighting her demons everyday.

She tries not to become one among them.

Body hasn't taken a nice shower,

Hair unkept,

Face drops gloomier every then and now.

How many days still remained?

How many miles yet not traveled?

Numb to desire.

Numb to pain.

Heart shatters in pieces everday.

How long will she be able to keep fighting?

The hatred,

The resentment,

Buried deep inside.

How long will she be able to suppress the urge to avenge?

The urge to become one among them.

Trust shattered into pieces,

Stabbed again and again by the people she cared and tried to protect.

How long will she be able to hold herself?

When your world falls apart,

And everything you had was destroyed.

When you fall from grace & glory,

You realise...

That....that...

Forever is a misconception.

Love a lie.

Friendship a mistake,

And relatives blood-related strangers.

What once you thought despicable.

The thoughts you despised,

In the end they all become a source.....

A source to survive..
