Dark Room

Dark Room

I'm trapped in a dark room,

My mind was swamped with befuddled emotions.

Forlorn, unaccompanied, my heart, broken.

Day by day, it's getting hard to keep me in control.

I give them so many signs, but they just ignore them.

Tears pooling in my hardened eyes,

I watch quietly as the people walk by,

Ignoring my silent, helpless cries.

So give me a hand,

Someone drag me out of this horrendous state,

Take me in your arms, stroke my hair

And watch me break.
