Crimson Dawn, Midnight Heart

Crimson Dawn, Midnight Heart

She shall wander far and wide, unbound,

Protected by liberty's radiant light.

From hearth and home to cities' sprawling ground,

Through sunlit days to moonless, starless night.

From knowledge's depths to labor's weary plight,

No more the rape's foul stain, nor murder's blight.

No more the stifled sigh, nor trembling fear,

For beasts disguised as humans disappear.

To heal, to fight, or knowledge's heights to climb,

A utopia we name, a perfect time,

Where spirits soar and freedom knows no end,

As darkness creeps, she'll bravely comprehend.

Fearless she stands, a criminal's foe,

For independence, justice, a righteous glow.

No longer man a beast in human guise,

Horror's end, where beauty's vision lies.

A utopia, a world of pure delight,

Yet Shakespeare's truth brings shadows to the light.

For fiends may dwell beyond the gates of hell,

And earthly paradise to ruin fell.

May heaven's mercy guide us through this strife,

For within us all, a devil's life
