Conversations With the Moon

Does the moon feel lonely,

Alone in the night sky?

Or has he finally accepted his fate,

To stay there alone forever.

Maybe he has befriended the stars,

Which tell him the stories from far and wide. 

Maybe he talks with other planets,

Like Venus or Maybe Mars.

Maybe he has a lot to do,

And has no time to talk to anyone.

But whatever maybe the case,

I'll forever talk to the moon.

To keep him company every night,

Because he was there for me when no one else was.
