Company Of A Madman
Company Of A Madman

In the general coach of
My home bound train,
Entered a lunatic, quickly
Earning hate of all men.
As fate had it, he chose
To sit just in front of me;
I could have got up and gone,
But I had paid my fee.
Unasked, yet he answered;
How much he loved her,
Their beautiful family and
Fun, they had together.
Tried hard to ignore,
But hardly I could escape,
This tale of broken wings,
Watching a beloved's rape.
Suddenly his eyes filled,
He let out a moaning cry,
My soul did ache, I wept
Only without tear in my eye.
Every day he narrated,
This heart wrenching fate;
Was it his own life story or
A tragedy he would create?
Seeing his emotion, I couldn't
Help but feel so rogue;
As he carried on with,
His insane monologue.
