Colours Of Life
Colours Of Life
The blush of dawn, like a loved one's kiss,
Red paints the sky giving morning bliss.
A symbol of passion, strong and deep,
For bonds filled with happiness and love we all keep.
It speaks of peace, a calming hue,
Amidst the joyful and excited crew.
Blue reminds of gentle grace,
Of friendship and joy’s warm embrace.
Green for growth, a vibrant soul,
Shedding winters cloak, making us a whole.
In laughter’s dance, with colours bright,
May harmony flourish, bathed in green light.
Let the yellow powder fly,
For laughter which is beneath the sky.
Yellow shines, a sunlit gleam
A splash of hope, and happiness’s beam.
Not just for girls, this tender shade,
For the sake of equality, it should never fade.
A sister’s touch, a brother’s glee,
For pink, it is the joy of unity.
Throw some purple, let it softly fall,
Amidst the people’s joyous call.
Like a crown filled with delight,
So, throw it high filled with might.
Throw some orange, let it fly,
A symbol of Energy, that touches the sky.
It speaks of enthusiasm, a citrus zest,
Where it puts laughter to the test.
Let the colours fly, with laughter in the air,
But remember, white’s soft touch in a silent prayer.
A dove in flight, which reminds us a symbol of purity,
All of us together, shows us peace and unity.
When colours fade, and dusk descends,
Brown earth’s peace, helps chaos mend.
speaks of roots, strength untold,
The ground in which joy unfolds.
When you see black on your face,
Embrace it with hidden grace.
As in night, it is inky hue,
Lies Holi’s spirit, vibrant and true.
