Colours Of Life

Colours Of Life

1 min
149

Life is a multi-coloured prism.

Changing colours as our life's seasons change.

The spring of childhood young and sweet

For this is the colour peach not meet?

And then grow the shoots of youth.

For which the shades of green are smooth.

The maturity of life begins to show

And the colour red begins to glow

As we approach the crest of life,

Browns and blacks become our type.

As the sun begins to go down on us

Grey is what tells us why all this fuss?

But not once in all this will I permit any slack.

Of all the colours of life the one I hate most is black

For black is for death and I am not ready yet

Life still pulses through me and my hands are still steady.
