Children
Children
Children, oh sweet and precious ones,
With their wide-eyed wonder and playful fun,
They fill the world with joy and laughter,
And make our hearts feel lighter after.
In their innocent minds and curious hearts,
They explore the world, taking it apart,
Learning and growing with each passing day,
As they chase their dreams in their own way.
Their imagination knows no bounds,
As they dream of flying high above the clouds,
Of becoming astronauts or superheroes,
And saving the world from all its woes.
Their laughter is infectious and pure,
A sound that makes our hearts soar,
As we watch them play and frolic,
Their smiles making our lives symbolic.
But not all children have it easy,
For some, life is a struggle that's not so breezy,
They face hardships and challenges,
That are beyond their tender ages.
They may be hungry, sick, or alone,
With no one to turn to or call their own,
But even in their darkest hour,
They show resilience and a fighting power.
For every child deserves a chance,
To grow up happy, healthy, and in balance,
To be loved and cared for with all our might,
And to have the opportunity to shine bright.
So let us cherish our little ones,
And create a world that is second to none,
Where children can grow and flourish,
And their lives can truly nourish.
Let us build a world that's fair and just,
Where every child can thrive and trust,
Where their dreams can come true,
And they can make a difference too.
For children are the future,
And we must do all we can to nurture,
Their minds, their hearts, and their souls,
So that they can reach their goals.
