Celebrating Life

Curled up in a warm blanket

On a cold and wintry day,

Dreaming of mountains and forests,

Simply takes my breath away.

A hot cup of steaming tea,

And an exciting book to read.

With snacks to eat while it rains.

What more do you need?

Summertime is full of fun,

Despite the scorching heat.

Chilling out in the air-conditioner,

With an ice-cream for a treat.

Strolling along the seashore,

Enjoying the cool sea breeze,

Getting my feet drenched in waves,

Even as I begin to sneeze.

Running after money is

The latest fad of life mundane.

Losing health for the sake of wealth.

Is something I really find insane.

All these simple pleasures of life,

Everyone must have gone through.

But reliving and cherishing those moments,

Is something that I want to do.
