Celebrating Alone
Celebrating Alone
The breeze gently caresses my face;
I am lost, as if in a maze.
People around me are running in their busy race,
And here I am celebrating my happy-dull phase.
The trees dance in sync,
Thinking about this my heart sinks.
Those rock and stones smile,
I stare at them for a while.
Hours pass by,
Nobody to high-five.
The wind blows so cold
I, with each minute, grow bold.
On purpose, I leave my phone at home,
So that without any worries I can roam.
Nobody by my side to intervene,
Discovering my own self I become keen.
The stars twinkle in delight,
I soar up and up in the moonlight.
I open up my scars
And vent out my feelings to the stars,
I feel relaxed albeit they are far.
