Bygones
Bygones
Walking down the lane,
Crossing the path full of grain,
The destination seems too far,
I saw a person playing the guitar.
The music he was playing,
But my heart was chasing,
Rush to wipe my tears,
I broke like a deep cut with shear.
Mid-day Good afternoon!
I saw the sun with no moon,
Desire to achieve my destiny,
Twined my face like Gemini.
Path by path I kept crossing,
Learned each step with crawling,
People laughed and took pleasure,
I reached high for them to talk in leisure.
Still,
Walking down the lane,
When I hear the sound of a plane,
Somewhere my heart aches,
Longing for a deep break.
Where holding hands was casual
Meeting every day as usual
Where dreams were together
Now only memories are a treasure.
