Butterfly In The Garden

Look at the butterfly sitting on the rose,

Doesn't it look like it's there to pose?

Flitting from one flower to another,

At times alone and sometimes together...

Collecting nectar as much as it can,

Resting for a bit before it began...

The garden is full of red roses and lovely tulips,

It makes me wanna kiss them by my lips...

Bright and colorful they present a wonderful sight,

Sure would make me think about it all night...

Such beautiful things are there in our nature,

Flowers, plants, mountains, and some wonderful creatures...

Whenever I am bored or feel bogged down,

I paint this picture of a butterfly in the garden...

In words, I can't describe what it means to me,

The peace and content it brings to me...
