Breaking Stereotypes

She tried to speak her mind,

Follow her dreams,

Break the stereotype,

But then a voice echoed “ What would THEY say ?”

She never really understood who THEY were,

But apparently THEY were everywhere.

Finally She could walk past her fears,

Followed her dreams despite their approval,

Broke the chains as she realized, for her it was crucial.

She was not the best but getting there slowly,

And that’s how THEY were never a part of her story.
