Born To Fly
Born To Fly
Unknown faces, unheard voices;
Full of excitement though quite nervous;
No one knew me, neither did I?
However got the courage to face because I
knew I was Born to fly.
The anchor pleads for a bulk of applause and
then I arrived;
The crowd turned silent, all of me eager to hear me;
And then someone from the back, I don't know
who;
Said; “Just sing dear, you will feel free “.
The background music started and soon played
the beat;
I was lost somewhere in that music and that
proved my feet;
For once I even thought, it was all a dream;
No one knew me, neither did I?
However got the courage to face because I
knew I was born to fly.
I sung that day for the first time on stage;
Just like someone got me out of the cage;
It was all nothing but nervousness and fear;
After the performance, I heard the cheers;
I was so happy that my eyes shredded tears.
People congratulated me at the backstage;
But what my eyes were searching for was my
music sage;
He soon arrived and with a broad smile he said;
“I knew you will do great because you were
born to fly;
Really very high in the sky, you were just
born to fly.
