Born To Be Reborn
Born To Be Reborn
She was born innocent, like a white canvas
Ready to relish the beauty of the colors around her.
But all that filled her was black.
Pain, sorrow, betrayal, anything one can think of
Was painted on her, the white canvas.
She went through it, never realized what had happened to her
Until she was completely blackened
Till there was no spot left for the colors to do their job.
Did she lose hope? Yes.
Did she give up? No.
She came out of it, only wanting to return as something different.
Vowing to end their peace, whoever took hers.
So she rose from the ashes like a Phoenix, only to become a Serpent
And soon, peace health, happiness, everything was taken by her
From the people who took hers.
And it all ended one day.
But did she ever become the white canvas she once was?
Well, she became the dark of the midnight
Which could never meet the light of noon?
But the transition,
From the blackened canvas to the dark poison
Made her the Artemis she is.
She finds beauty in black now.
All she enjoys now is the sweetness of revenge.
She was born innocent but made vicious.
