Blue Imagination
Blue Imagination
Once I saw the moon blue
And yet I had no clue
It looked as milky to me
As I had always seen!
Then I was told the fact of life
When the full moon twice a month shines!
That is called a blue moon
I wish I had known it soon!
Once I saw the blue blue sky
Over my head, above so high
And yet it felt like I could touch
Just with a jump, I could reach
The vastness that fills the void
Of all blemishes, it is devoid
Once I saw the deep blue sea
Stretched as far as the eye could see
Fathoming depths with secrets many
It was a revelation, do you know any?
It waved at me with tiny arms
I was in a place, where I couldn't be harmed!
So, then that is what blue does for me
What's your colour? Is it as lovely?
Where does it take you; near or far?
Is it dark as the night or bright like a star?
Do tell me soon, I am waiting to hear
Who saves you, like blue, my saviour?
