Best Friends Forever And Ever

Was it swimming around in waves?

Was it baking and licking spoons?

What was it that made us realize,

We were what they all called, "Best Friends"

Our lives were quite stressful, of course,

Drowning barbies and throats all hoarse,

Our old clothes on the floor and bed,

Swinging across to make tent heads.

Life has changed, you and I, have not.

Good and bad will bring us nearer.
