Belonging
Belonging
You don't belong to those
With whom blood connects you,
Cos, at times, devils wear a familiar face,
The closest ones seem too far,
Far from understanding you,
Knowing you, caring for you
But don't worry, that doesn't mean
You have nowhere and none to belong,
God often sends you some people,
Who are different from you in all aspects,
Still they make you feel that comfort,
That security, that love, and care,
And most importantly at times,
They know you more deeply
Than anyone who you share genes with,
They know your flaws yet
Accept you for who you are!
