Beggar

Beggar

1 min
184

In the street I see

a beggar with folded hands

wearing a torn rain coat,

his attires change

according to the seasons like mine

but somewhere torn

somewhere dirty.

His eyes glow

when now and then

a piece of metal collides

on the walls of his broken begging bowl.

I too have a bowl

but it's not broken

I can't even touch it;

softwares you know!

But every month

when I receive cash in that box

my eyes witness the same glow.

So, I'm no different than that beggar

I too am a beggar with decent clothes

and a virtual begging bowl.
