And marvelling their softness

My puppy eyes  would still be pleading
For one more kiss
Since for the first time
In the history of Humanity
Someone had found this elixir of life
And when it was mine,
I just could not let it go.


You would still have found me cuddling you
You would still have found the warmth
And the closeness between us
Exponentiate with every passing second.


You would have known 
That with every beat of my heart,
My love for you increases an infinity,
Making a greater infinity.

If only life had stopped
